I am a licensed psychologist in the State of New Jersey providing Counseling and Psychotherapy to Individuals, Couples, and Families. I treat a wide range of mental health issues, problem behaviors, and relationship conflicts. I am a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, the Somerset-Hunterdon Psychological Association, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and other specialized professional societies.

I am a clinical psychologist who has extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual therapy and group therapy to help children clients reach their goals. The therapeutic process begins with a comprehensive assessment which strives to determine clients’ individual needs, motivation for change, personal strengths, support system, and cultural and religious values and ethnic identity. Utilizing information about clients’ preferences and past therapeutic experiences, I work with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that identifies reachable goals that can bring about tangible and powerful improvements. My approach draws from research and is anchored in my "real life" experience as a clinician and a mom of four. I have a PhD in clinical psychology, which means that after college, I went to graduate school for six years, including a one-year clinical internship. I was trained to conduct and interpret psychological research and to provide psychotherapy. I also completed many hours of supervised clinical experience after earning my doctoral degree and passed a national and state exam to qualify for licensure. I regularly undertake continuing education to ensure that my knowledge and skills are up to date.
