My background is in MST or multi systemic Family Therapy. I believe the family system is vital to the mental and emotional well- being of each person in the family. All people in family work must have similar goals. I do sessions with individuals and families within the unit to better support the family unit to assist in fostering a more positive relationship, to preserve the family system. Focused on parent and pre- teen, teen, interaction or (co) parenting to better support the family dynamic in concert with working one pre /teen or adult child communication to increase a more positive relationship .

It is useful to see an entire family but can also be beneficial if parts of a family will work together to overcome communication problems, resentments, and misunderstandings that can tear families apart. Family therapy is very helpful to resolving conflicts of adult children after a parent has died. It can also be useful with young children, siblings, as well as teenagers, middle-aged people and older adults.
