Private counseling in residential rehabilitation is a privilege, as many facilities only offer group counseling. Our Valiant Recovery staff includes licensed psychologists who do private sessions with clients, which increases the likelihood of their success in the program. Individual counseling addresses the underlying causes of the client's personal struggles with addiction, for example, grief, abuse, trauma, and mental illness, and it does so in an environment of total confidentiality. Our counselors have masters degrees in psychology and extensive experience treating cases of addiction and substance abuse.
