Families are a natural system under which the members of the family relate and interact. It is important to learn which are this interactions that create the specific system in which the family lives. As well the patterns of their attachment show how they communicate with each other and how the different events of the family's life will be experienced and dealt with.

As a family counselor, I approach therapy with the belief that each family has unique strengths and challenges. My goal is to help families recognize and build upon their strengths, while also addressing areas that may be causing tension or conflict. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where each member of the family can feel heard and understood.
