Family Therapy (FT) is close to my heart because it was one of the first therapies I became practiced in. Family Therapy often involves attachment issues for children. My approach is to educate family members on various issues and the impacts of their behaviours on other members of the family. I require a strong commitment from all members of the family to be willing to change behaviours for the benefit of the entire family to improve family functioning over the long term.
