Psychotherapy can be defined as "talk therapy." The main goal of this type therapy is to help people talk through their problems with the intent of them working through their issues. Our approach to the counseling process is a little different than this. We have more of a training process approach to helping people work through their problems. That training process involves taking a deeper look at the cause of their problems. Then we give Biblical counsel as to what a person can do to change their thinking about specific problems that will cause a change in their behavior.
