I’m Tim, and I help young people navigate the complex world of being a teenager. With me, young people can expect therapy grounded in respect, encouragement, humor, as well as evidence-based techniques. Whether it be anxiety, relationships, anger, or family issues, I work with teens to find out the root causes of their mental health challenges, provide a trusting and empathic ear, and find solutions that work for them and their family. ***Please note *** I only work with teens ages 15 and older.

Whereas I do not see young children in person in my practice I can be of assistance with many parenting issues. These may involve questions about raising and disciplining and motivating your children. You may be coping with issues concerning the impact of divorce , separation and remarriage on your children. Blending families can introduce difficult child raising and couple issues for you. Please contact me for experienced, practical and understanding help.

I work with children and their parents to develop the skills to navigate many behavioral and learning challenges. My approach is based on skill building using the parent(s) as the "coach". I believe that you know your child best and that we can work together on a unique plan that meets your child's needs while respecting your goals and beliefs as a parent.

This includes building on your strengths as parent, and increasing the potential benefits of their relationships.
