I have 3 years experience working with adults of all ages in a college counseling center. Career issues was often something discussed. It may be that someone is unsure of what to major in, or be mid-life and wanting a career change. Together we will explore the past jobs you have had, your likes and dislikes about the past jobs, your values, interests and goals. Some career testing may also be conducted to help determine your areas of interest. We will also work on decreasing any distress that you may be experiencing through this porcess.

Whether it's choosing an initial career, a later-in--life career switch, managing interpersonal professional relationships or general job stress, Lake Austin Psychotherapy offers specialized career guidance and support. EMDR is also used to maximize professional performance potential including public speaking or business negotiations. We also offer treatment for PTSD specific to frontline health care workers including EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy under medical direction.

I work with young adults and women with navigating a variety of life transitions and adjustments, including deciding on a career path. I also work with young professionals on managing work stress, perfectionism, and burn out. I practice from a solution-focused approach that allows us to work together collaboratively and work towards your goals for therapy.
