I practice the admonition to "judge not", which frees us to explore your life challenges in a compassionate and caring environment. Christians struggle with the same life challenges as others. Forgiveness, self-acceptance, humlity, personal spiritual growth, grace, joy, and compassion are part of the message of Jesus Christ. Faith is an integral part of my practice. For me, all the best counseling techniques and coping skills in the world are not enough without God. Our relationship with God can become complicated and confusing at times. Sometimes it feels like He isn't even there. It's okay to feel angry or abandoned by God. But when you turn to Him he does hear you. My counseling is not a bible study, but bringing Christ into my sessions is important to me.
