We will also work on how your thinking affects your mood, so you can learn to feel better. We will work on your interpersonal relationships, teaching you how to receive positive reinforcement and enhance the opportunities for this. We will also work on teaching you to positively reinforce yourself.

There are three consistent methods to improve depression, whether it is situational or chronic. They include exercise, medicine and counseling- AND- they are synergistic. This means if you do more than one of them, you get more and more benefit. Do all three and it is 1+1+1=5 with the impact on your depression. Try and exercise 3 times a week, consider medication if needed, and start with the talk therapy. You can feel better!
