***ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS***First of all, let's establish that seeking counseling is a sign of strength, not weakness. None of us have all the answers and most of us cannot do this thing called "life" on our own without some guidance and direction. My focus is on providing a safe and welcoming environment in which personal growth can flourish through collaboration as well as specializing in working on relational issues, trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My background includes working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents, domestic violence perpetrators, individuals, families, and couples. I enjoy working with clients from all cultural and social backgrounds, as well as assisting adults through life's transitions.

The goal of the therapeutic process is to enable the individual to experience life with purpose and meaning, and find a level of peace and joy, through Client Centered, Solution Focused Therapy, and CBT. My view of therapy is that it is a collaborative coalition and my role as a therapist is to help individuals process their life struggles and develop self-awareness, insight, meaning and healthy coping skills that allow them to build a sense of empowerment about their inner ability to heal and better manage their difficulties.
