Like many others in this field, my personal and professional turning points in life have led me to the profession of counselling and therapy. From a young age, I could always be found lending a listening ear and wanting to help solve the problems of those around me. I am passionate about the well-being of others and couldn’t imagine myself doing anything different in my career.

In taking on the decision to pursue my passion for human behaviour and development, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and minor in Counselling & Human Development from Simon Fraser University. To further this work, I then obtained my Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Adler University. It has been a passion of mine to be able to offer my skillset and knowledge to make a difference in one's life and I feel so privileged to be continuing this work in the field.

I strive to view every individual through a holistic, client-centered, and strength-based lens. I believe in the power of humans and work to empower my clients towards healing. I employ a trauma-informed lens and a range of therapeutic modalities, with an emphasis on Emotion-Focused Therapy and attachment-based work. Seeing all individuals as unique, I am flexible and adaptable to the needs of my clients and have experience utilizing interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to name a few.

My approach is collaborative; I allow clients the space to explore and process, while also leaving them with tools and resources that they can use beyond our session. I believe knowledge is power and when empowered, humans have the ability to move towards their potential and betterment. I aspire to always leave my clients with a deeper understanding of themselves as I believe this to be a true strength and tool to continue pushing forward. 

I feel deeply honoured and fulfilled to be doing this work. I constantly find myself filled with deep gratitude as I am always learning from my clients, just as much as they may feel they are learning from me. Witnessing the evolution of clients who let me into their growth drives me to continue this journey, and I am committed to helping you on your journey.
