MID-LATER LIFE TRANSITIONS AND COUPLES THERAPY
Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain?
Are you noticing changes in yourself and you aren’t sure what’s happening and why?
Are the changes impacting your relationships and your day-to-day life?
Do you notice that you are reacting in ways that don’t feel aligned to who you are?
That’s often when people discover me. I have helped hundreds of individuals and now couples rebuild safety, trust, and emotional closeness. I would be honoured to work alongside you as you navigate these changes. I appreciate the courage it takes to be here.
HERE’S HOW I CAN SUPPORT YOU
I offer a calm, inclusive, supportive and non-judgmental space for adult individuals and couples where you can feel safe, seen and heard. Using an integrated and personalized approach, we’ll work together with curiosity and compassion to untangle your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and reconnect you with who you are so you can move forward with greater acceptance, clarity, and a sense of purpose.
The primary goal is always to begin with building safety and trust together. I often hear that something which felt confusing or uncertain has started to make sense. That movement from uncertainty toward clarity and from reactivity to responsiveness is what I work towards in every session. We walk through this process together with curiosity, compassion, and care, ensuring you feel supported. The goal isn’t just insight, but helping you move forward in a way that feels clearer, grounded, and connected to who you are. Therapy takes work and means striking a balance between finding non-judgment where you can feel safe, seen, and heard and then developing an active voice that supports action. To me, that means supporting you in living the change – not just understanding it.
For individuals, I focus on working alongside you to develop meaningful goals, helping you navigate mid- to late-life transitions, and always keeping an end in mind.
For couples, I work with those who are in relationships and want to address and regain connection, love and passion for and amongst each other. Relationships include married, common-law, same-sex, polyamorous, those living together or separately.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
In sessions, I do not lead with one method and apply it to you. I listen first, observe what you are sharing and what is happening, and draw on relevant and applicable methodologies. The approach is always adapted to you, not the other way around. This makes the approach personalized and integrated.
I also believe that therapy can be a circle of care. This means therapy does not have to be the two of us and can embody a team-based approach.
Some people enjoy including others in their therapeutic journey. You may have a doctor, psychiatrist, physiotherapist, chiropractor or others involved in your care circle. Others may have cultural or spiritual supports, such as an elder, healer, or community figure, who are central to how you understand yourself.
Creating a clinical structure that opens the door to the circle is essential, and sometimes that means collaboration, and other times that means bringing others into the therapy space itself.
