Are you looking for a safe and trustworthy environment for healing conversations?
Is this a time to write new stories for your life and relationships?
Therapy is a place to engage changes that make a difference!
With many years of experience working with couples, individuals and families, I offer strength-based therapy that diminishes problems and promotes creative solutions.
I hold an MA in Child/Marriage Counseling from Pacific Oaks College, and an MFA from Otis College of Art. As co-founder of the Narrative Counseling Center, I have a passion for narrative therapy and the new perspectives and possibilities it provides.
An Adjunct faculty member at Antioch University and Phillips Graduate Institute, I teach courses that include Brief Therapy, The Psychology of Couples in Fiction and Film, Postmodern Psychotherapies, Critical Psychology, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Psychology: Roots, Theory and Practice.
I have worked with couples, individuals and families in a range of settings including AIDS Service Center in Pasadena and the School Based Program of Jewish Family Services.
As a family therapist, I frequently facilitate transformative parent-teen and family dialogues.
I also work extensively with artists, actors and writers. My 25 years of experience in making art informs the creativity I bring to psychotherapy.
I offer Counseling at my Larchmont Blvd. office or Online.
