Sometimes, life’s problems begin slowly, and if left unresolved, they grow to become overwhelming and uncontrollable. A stress relieving activity that has bloomed into an addiction may seem like no big deal, people often tell themselves. However, addiction steals people’s lives. Similarly, people may feel like they can control their anger or their anxiety until these grow into unmanageable problems. Seeking help early may lead to more successful treatment.
Improved relationships that result from better interpersonal skills
A restored sense of life-purpose
Alleviated mental health disorders and/or their symptoms
Increased focus on personal or professional goals
