At Garrett Counseling, we can offer help to families in a variety of ways. We offer parenting counseling, including our "Parenting with Purpose" support group. We are also equipped to provide counseling for family relationships, coping with divorce, child behavior issues, and more. Our team is prepared to help families cope with their struggles with compassion and innovation.

Sometimes even adult family members find that they have difficulty getting along and communicating. Not having a "bag of communication tools," they do not know how to navigate the waters of disagreements, different perfectives, and relational components. Having someone outside the family circle can provide a safe environment to begin to deal with those difficulties. I offer that kind of opportunity to be able to review and revise old patterns of communication in order to experience more satisfying relationships.

Family systems (styles of interaction) can be flexible, stable, chaotic and rigid depending on the family you were raised in.
