Sacramento is known for its fruit trees which began in 1847 when John Sutter imported 2,000 fruit trees beginning the agricultural industry in the Valley.  The following year, James W. Marshall discovered gold at Sutter’s Mill and the population increased from the gold-seekers in search of riches.  John Sutter, Jr. along with an engineer, William Warner,  laid out the numbered street system including 26 lettered and 31 numbered streets.  After some bitterness between Sutter and his son, Sutter’s Fort, Mill and Sutterville failed, even though Sacramento became an overnight commercial success.   As the home of the famous Sacramento Kings, this city has seen a large boom in sports enthusiasts.   A values-committed Counselor Sacramento from Theravive is one small part of helping individuals work through difficulties with great success.

Greater Sacramento is extended by numerous towns such as Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Rocklin, and North Highlands.  The city of Sacramento was incorporated in 1850 when the citizens adopted a charter.  In 1854 the California State Legislature moved to Sacramento.  Earlier the Capital of California was located in Monterey, San Jose, Vallejo and Benicia.  This city was named to be the permanent State Capital in 1879.  The most common religion in Sacramento is Christian.  Counselor Sacramento is a professional therapist dedicated to families in need of help with issues in their lives.    In 1861 a flood caused the legislative session to move to San Francisco.  While construction continued, the legislative chambers were occupied in 1869 and the Classical Revival style California State Capitol was completed in 1874.  During that period, the Leland Stanford Mansion was used by Stanford as the governor office.
