I was raised in San Diego, California. After high school I went to college at Boston University and received my Bachelor's in Art History. I then received my Masters from TheCalifornia School of Professional Psychology. I began my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern (#83341) by providing therapy services in a domestic violence shelter and a High School. Currently, I am working towards my PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy and seeing clients at Caldwell-Clark in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles. When I'm not working, I like to ride my bike and cook recipes I've never tried before (soups are my favorite).
WHAT I DO
Individuals: I support young adults struggling to figure out who they are in the world. This time can bring about big decisions regarding career, relationship, and family. While these decisions are incredibly difficult for some (often called a quarter-life crisis), they are challenging for all. Couples: I help young couples achieve new levels of passion and intimacy in their relationships. Couples in their 20s an 30s often struggle with disconnectedness, infidelity, communication, and understanding their own needs. Through therapy, you and your partner can become more open and responsive to one other.
WHAT I BELIEVE
I believe in the strength and resilience present in people's everyday lives. When going through a transition, it is often hard for us to maintain that strength amid uncertainty, self-doubt, and fear. I help clients going through a life change to explore problem areas and harness their inner strength.
Facing big changes can feel impossible at times. Whether you are transitioning out of college, navigating a career change, or feeling lost in general, therapy can support you in addressing these transitions through honest communication and helping to strengthen your self-esteem and self-worth in order to make those key life decisions with confidence.
