Profile:
Hello! My name is David Fine. First let me explain that in my estimation counselling can be healthy for anyone. It simply provides you with tools to help you make more informed and logical decisions and my hope is that it provides you with a more fruitful satisfying life. Here is a little bit about me and my training background. At a point in my life I hit my wall. I no longer wanted my marriage, my family, my work, or my friends. I had no purpose to my life. I realized that I knew very little about myself and what I really wanted. I did however know that I did not want to live out the rest of my life, as I had the first part of my life. I spent many years in practical and theoretical training learning about myself and how the world works. I discovered what I liked and disliked, what I really wanted in my life, how to give love and receive love, and how to see the world as a friendly place. Most of all I learned how to take responsibility for myself and my actions, show my vulnerability, and work towards being a better human being. I studied Gestalt, Person Centred Therapy, Family Systems, and NLP. I hold an Honours Degree in Business and have a Masters in T. Psychology. I am both a Canadian Registered Professional Counsellor and a Canadian Certified Psychotherapist. I am a member of the CPCA (Canadian Professional Counsellor sociation) and the CCPCP(Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists).
I have also practiced group therapy and facilitate a group on "Effective Life Functioning" for $25.00 per 2 hour session.
I help people relook at thier family values for a different perspective and see the world in a whole different way.
