There can be a lot of pressure to figure out one’s career or to decide where one fits within a particular field. Oftentimes this is a winding road rather than a straight route. Within therapy, I will support you in identifying and exploring the values, goals, interests, and passions most important to you so that you can make decisions about your career that feel right to you. I will also work with you to process possible obstacles along the way such as (and certainly not limited to) challenging work dynamics, stress and burnout, and difficulties finding a work/life balance. In my career counselling, I address burnout and workplace stress by aligning clients' jobs with their values and needs, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing. We explore emotional and physical responses to work, identifying dissatisfaction sources. This insight helps us consider career transitions that better match personal goals, enhancing job satisfaction and fulfillment.
