Whether you are still in school, looking for work, transitioning, or have a position, I provide counselling for all aspects of career. I can support you with personality testing and strengths inventories. I also can coach around interpersonal difficulties, boundaries, and how to get what you want from a job. I work with people who new in their area and leaders in their industry. I believe that finding purpose and meaning in work is a major life task.

Maybe as a child you dreamed about having a great life of abundance and achieve greatness. At that age, you were a winner and you would stand up and defend your dreams against any challenges. Unfortunately, lots of people may lose some of that winning spirit growing up and the champion in you may have slowly dimed. Maybe you do set goals and you do have an idea of what your purpose and direction in life is. This simply is not enough for you to experience the abundance in life that you deserve. You have all the potential to radically make a difference! It is already deep inside of you and waiting to be used. Together, we will work toward using that amazing potential.

Career counselling with me involves an exploration of your strengths, and experiences. Together we will make sense of your journey and find the words to begin your plans for next steps. In therapy as you experience a non-judgmental, secure relationship you can orient yourself and experience a sense of confidence and assurance to move forward. Through locating where you are in the process of change and untangle the elements that are keeping you from moving towards a life of purpose and passion.

For example, working away from home may bring extra income but also problems that make you need to review decisions and priorities. You may be experiencing burn out or a feeling of being overwhelmed and may need to look at some strategies to manage and balance your life better. You be feeling stuck or discouraged in your job and, regardless of your age, wonder what options you have. There may be situations or conflicts at your work that are distressing you and you would like some coaching to deal with them.
