So often a young person is confused by the directions they have to choose from when thinking of a career. My approach, that I think benefits Clients is that the first career doesn't have to be where they are stuck for the rest of their lives. So many are switching careers that the person in a forty year job is rare these days. I encourage Clients to start off by recognizing their passions & let one or another be their guide for a happy future.

Career related stress can affect confidence, motivation, identity, and overall emotional well being. My approach to career counselling is relational, practical, and attuned to each client’s unique story. I blend thoughtful, strengths-based exploration with gentle guidance that helps people clarify what energizes them, what environments help them thrive, and what patterns may be holding them back. Clients benefit from a supportive space where they can be honest about their uncertainties, experiment with new possibilities, and craft clear, actionable steps. Together, we build a path forward that aligns with your values, personality, and evolving sense of identity—so work feels not only sustainable, but meaningful.

Career counselling with me involves an exploration of your strengths, and experiences. Together we will make sense of your journey and find the words to begin your plans for next steps. In therapy as you experience a non-judgmental, secure relationship you can orient yourself and experience a sense of confidence and assurance to move forward. Through locating where you are in the process of change and untangle the elements that are keeping you from moving towards a life of purpose and passion.

Maybe as a child you dreamed about having a great life of abundance and achieve greatness. At that age, you were a winner and you would stand up and defend your dreams against any challenges. Unfortunately, lots of people may lose some of that winning spirit growing up and the champion in you may have slowly dimed. Maybe you do set goals and you do have an idea of what your purpose and direction in life is. This simply is not enough for you to experience the abundance in life that you deserve. You have all the potential to radically make a difference! It is already deep inside of you and waiting to be used. Together, we will work toward using that amazing potential.

I work with clients wanting to find new meaning and purpose in their work and life path. It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks.
