Career Counseling is about change. In my practice, I do not use assessments or aptitude tests, as I believe the client is the best source of information. Additionally, we will evaluate your level of risk taking, relationships and approaches to pursue a new career path. My style is comprehensive and tailored to you to help your reach your career goals.

I support individual clients experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and mental and emotional exhaustion. I often work with Highly Sensitive People, or empaths, who are more susceptible to these experiences. I support those in helping professions like teachers, therapists, parents, medical professionals, and difficult work environments create their boundaries in their workspace for personal well-being.

We spend the majority of our time at the workplace and so when we love our job, we have a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. When we either don't have one or don’t love the one we have, we struggle greatly. My approach to career counseling is simple. Let's figure out what factors are important to you in life. I have a specific degree (Masters Degree MA) in career and academic counseling. I have worked with undergraduate and graduate students on many college campuses over the years teaching and counseling in the area of career and work related topics. I have assisted in Womens Reentry, job placement, resume writing, interview techniques, and have taught and assisted clients to discover their true potential. What DO you want to be when you grow up--I have helped clients (ages 15-55) who struggle with this question. I also have a degree and am a licensed Marriage and Family Pschotherapist--often career issues affect our relationships, self esteem, and other personal areas as well.
