I support individual clients experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and mental and emotional exhaustion. I often work with Highly Sensitive People, or empaths, who are more susceptible to these experiences. I support those in helping professions like teachers, therapists, parents, medical professionals, and difficult work environments create their boundaries in their workspace for personal well-being.

Most people will have very different multiple careers in their lives. This can be very confusing and frightening. We all want to make the right choices. We want to be happy in our work and make enough money to live the life style we desire. We want to make as few mistakes in our choices as possible. We will work to clear the clouds by getting closer to understanding our needs and desires. We will set action goals, identify targets, evaluate results and continue refining the process until we are satisfied with the results.

Careers are integral to the identities of many people, while for others careers are simply means for attaining a happy life. Whether you’re developing your first career or looking to switch careers, I use a combination of assessment batteries and counseling to explore my clients’ goals, preferences, and aptitudes to identify their career path and develop a plan for achieving it.

A large component of career choice is how we view ourselves and what we feel we can accomplish. So there's a big element of identity in there. I use Positive Psychology tools to assess the individual's strengths of character and what they view as important tools for success that they already have in their arsenal. From that perspective, we also look at those character strengths that could use a little further strengthening in order to best serve the individual reach their goals. Dreaming and imagining are big pieces of this process, so we also explore those in depth. I encourage realistic dreaming and identify fears and doubts that getting the way of dreaming and accomplishing dreams.
