I am a Christian therapist. I have a heart for helping couples, individuals and families to become more securely attached to one another by deepening and strengthening their relationships with one another and with God. We are created for connection. We are created to be in relationship and in community with one another. God's heart is that our relationships would be healthy & whole. I work specifically on understanding how disconnection and distance happens in your relationships and help you build a more secure, lasting connection with those who matter most. I help you repairt rifts, rebuild trust if necessary, and restore your relationship to wholeness for your good & for God's glory.

I have learned throughout my life that Christianity Preaches and Judaism Teaches. However believing in one or in the other encourages having the faith towards positivity and love. As we all need to have a belief system which makes us feel as we have a loving tradition to turn to when in need. No one can do it alone. In turning to faith, we are not again, alone.

Your faith is part of who you are, and it deserves to be honored in the therapy room, not set aside at the door. I offer a warm, respectful space where your spiritual life and Christian values are welcomed and taken seriously as we work through whatever you're facing. While I help you understand yourself at a deeper level — the patterns, fears, and longings beneath the surface — I do so in a way that respects and works alongside your beliefs rather than against them. Many people find that faith and self-understanding strengthen one another. There's no judgment here for what you believe. Whatever has brought you here, I'm confident we can face it together, with your values guiding the way.

I specialize in counseling for Christian married couples, specifically those of the LDS faith. Using a faith-based therapy model, I am able to meet clients within their own belief system and help them navigate the challenges of it while tapping into the goodness it provides them. This is particularly helpful for clients who are navigating sexuality and intimacy issues.

I received both my masters and doctoral degrees, along with related training, at Rosemead School of Psychology, one of the leading schools in the country focused on the integration of Christian faith and understanding of human nature with clinical counseling. Our faith can be an important, even central part of our lives. For many people having a therapeutic relationship where this part of themselves can be explored and where they can be open about their faith and relationship with God is hugely important. I understand this importance and so I provide an open, understanding space for addressing challenges, fears, and fostering personal and spiritual growth in a Christian context.

As a Christian and a graduate from Bethel Seminary, I am aware of how a person's spiritual faith is integrated into all aspects of one's life. For many people it is important to find a therapist who understands and values their faith in Jesus Christ. I endeavor to meet each person where they are at in their spiritual journey, respecting individuals from various spiritual backgrounds.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that.
