Psychotherapy is a combination of two words: "psycho" referring to mind and "therapy" involving a process of treatment intended to relieve or heal a problematic issue. Mind is interconnected with emotions, spirit, body, relationships, or performances. Debilitating issues of the mind can result in mood disturbances, behavioral, social, educational, somatic and relational problems. I work collaboratively with clients in identifying underlining issues of mind, then assist with deconstructing the problem or exploring meanings to achieve desired goals for relief, resolution, or healing.

My approach to psychotherapy comes from a deep responsibility in helping people grow. I specialize in brining adults to consciousness, healing trauma, and self actualization. With 23 years of practicing and teaching the science of yoga and spirituality I consider this work sacred. I have a limited amount of session per week to give my clients the attention they need. I work regularly on my own self care which allows me to capture my passion and avoid burn out. For over 25 years I have been intentional about my own personal growth and healing. Many of my clients are with me for years and I often hear from past clients years later. Building relationships is the core of therapeutic success.

My approach to therapy is not a quick fix or a band-aid approach. It is not self-help advice or executive coaching. It is a process of research-proven, emotional surgery that gets at the heart of your issues and heals them at their source.
