Like many professionals I am astounded that psychiatrists have added grief to their huge list of "disorders." We all grieve differently and at a different pace. Like a physical wound, grief cannot be rushed or "cured." The best we can do is to keep the emotional wound clean, dry, and freshly bandaged, then watch the passage of time work its miracle.
