Couples counseling usually focuses on finding shared goals for the relationship as well as understanding styles and barriers to communication. I use something called the speaker/listener technique which creates empathic listening and increases connectedness and intimacy among couples. I also believe we are a product of our upbringing and many times have dysfunctional barriers to effective communication.

Through my certification in both Gottman method and Prepare/Enrich, I help a variety of couples in different phases of their relationship.
