I am a relational therapist who works from a narrative perspective. That means that I preference the knowledge and experience of the people who chose to work with me. While I can offer tools, theories and techniques to make the changes you want in your life, our work together will always be centered around your personal values and preferences. I take great care to work at a pace that is right for you and on goals that you identify. I use warmth, humor and curiosity to create an impactful therapeutic experience.

Research supports that people change through the therapeutic relationship. Regardless of techniques or training, the most important variable is the relationship between therapist and client. When we have started to talk about the problem, we are already starting to change.

Within my private practice, I offer individual adult psychotherapy. My approach while working with you is to see you as a unique individual. Developing a therapeutic relationship that can assist you in coming to know, learn and understand your internal world. Our internal world is made up of conscious and unconscious thoughts, feelings, fears and anxieties that do impact our external choices. My treatment approach is to help you open up more awareness of yourself internally to be able to grow more skills to care for yourself in different ways. I believe we develop symptoms when our internal selves feel stuck and unable to grow. Therapy is about fostering growth.
