I have a warm and compassionate approach, and strive to meet each client where he or she is at. I make referrals to psychiatrists who can prescribe medication if needed, and when appropriate; however, I believe that medication is not always necessary to treat depression. I help my clients implement good self-care practices and coping skills that can help to mitigate depressive symptoms.
