Rather than labelling myself as a "Christian Counsellor," I label myself as a Registered Psychotherapist whom pulls from Christian principles, beliefs, and morals. Life is difficult and the dynamics of the world today only add complexity. Consolation in Christ can be shared and explored - including in therapy.

Spirituality is a vast topic that may or may not overlap with religion. Having had training and experience with spirituality, I am happy to meet you wherever you are in your spiritual journey. I am a licensed practitioner with the Church of Religious Science which is a Christian based, non denominational, church. The foundational doctrines in this church follow the truth of Jesus' teachings. A fundamental teaching of this perspective is that God is love, and as such, Jesus is the representation of God, or love, in human form. We all have the potential to be "Christ conscious" and just as Jesus said, we all are capable of doing even greater works than he (John 14:12). My work as a Christian counsellor is not as adherent to a particular religious dogma as most, but rather broader, less dogmatic, and more firmly seated in the actual teachings of Jesus.
