I am a Spiritual Director. Through my upbringing as a third generation Holocaust survivor I have learned through my family the strength of will and survival of Judaism. When people come to me they are looking for a larger presence in their lives. I am able to help others find faith and hope and reconnect to G-D. Something needs to shift in order to be able to reconnect. If it is darkness you see then I will guide you to the light. I will help guide you towards the wisdom you already have within you. I will help you find your passion again. When you know what you don't want, you will know what you want. I will sit with you for as long as it takes for you to create new hope and faith.

Faith and spirituality is at the core of who we are. My Christian faith informs who I am and my worldview. If you are a Christian, or person of faith, you can be assured that I will honour and affirm your core beliefs and view of the world. Although I am a Christian, I do not practice prayer-based counselling, instead my approach is mainly clinical, and positve-based.

As a Bible following Christian who was raised in a Christian family, I have my foundations based on the Biblical teachings. The world is becoming a difficult place to live and understand by the day, let alone raising children (if you do!). Making sense of the differences between what we believe God wants and what we face daily can be distressing and lead to despair and depression. Talking about these losses with someone with a similar faith can be vital as we navigate these challenges. My Masters degrees are from Christian university and my program had a spiritual/pastoral component. This means I am able to talk about spirituality and how important it can be for healing and coping in your life. I am open-minded so I know this faith/belief takes many forms for many different people. We can start with chatting about how faith and spirituality has been for you. We can also not talk about this or make this part of your healing journey. It needs to be about you and comfort level and needs. My approach is spiritual rather than religious in nature. I support people that may feel a traditional religion harmed them and are trying to heal this so it can still be a part life.

Being both a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and an Ordained Minister of 12 years, I respectfully integrate both psychological and Christian elements in my counselling.
