I provide psychotherapy to adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, career, and relationship stress. Therapy can be effective in helping you identify and process your emotions, untangle your thoughts and worries, heal from past wounds/relationships, and improve your confidence. When you schedule your first initial session with me, we will work together to determine what you want to get out of therapy and create an action plan of how to get there. Each session we will focus on a therapy goal and start exploring how to get closer to that goal through processing, activities, techniques, and research-based interventions.

I am a strong believer in the power of talk therapy. While counseling can be an incredible step towards positive change, it also needs to be accompanied by action outside the counseling session. I will help you navigate through the mental fog, anxiety, depression, addiction, communication issues and more, and will be a collaborator in the exploration of the source of these issues as well as ways of dealing with them and having a better quality of life.

Understanding "why" we are experiencing life the way we are can be very empowering. The Psychotherapy process will allow us to start to look at deeper rooted issues. When we evaluate our past we can begin to puzzle together your current relationships and sort through possible effective solutions. Going deeper with yourself allows for more relief and understanding.

Individual counseling may be oriented towards helping clients achieve their goals for their own personal development. People can grow, develop, and have positive change happen in their core beliefs, well into later stages of life. Younger or even mid-life clients may present with problems regarding sexuality or being at peace with their single sexuality. The Master Designer created us as sexual beings and much of my practice is aimed at helping clients overcome sexual anorexia or the other end of that continuum, sexual addiction and/or pornography addiction (with the added markers of distress being present.) Sex Therapy from a Christian perspective is a large part of my practice.
