Individual counseling may be oriented towards helping clients achieve their goals for their own personal development. People can grow, develop, and have positive change happen in their core beliefs, well into later stages of life. Younger or even mid-life clients may present with problems regarding sexuality or being at peace with their single sexuality. The Master Designer created us as sexual beings and much of my practice is aimed at helping clients overcome sexual anorexia or the other end of that continuum, sexual addiction and/or pornography addiction (with the added markers of distress being present.) Sex Therapy from a Christian perspective is a large part of my practice.

I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is a present focused psychotherapy and uses elements of traditional psychotherapy where the historical data is relevant to the present circumstances, thoughts and feelings that are being addressed. The client sets the agenda collaboratively with the therapist during each session. The client gains the tools over the course of therapy to use for a lifetime.
