My approach to career counseling within marriage focuses on helping couples navigate the stress, decisions, & life transitions that careers can place on a relationship. Career changes, financial pressure, work-life balance, education goals, burnout, & differing expectations can all impact communication & connection within a marriage. I work with couples to improve understanding, strengthen communication, and develop practical strategies that support both individual goals and the health of the relationship. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, I help couples identify thought patterns & behaviors that may be creating conflict or stress while encouraging collaborative solutions.

One of my areas of focus is work life stress and trauma. I work with many clients who are experiencing everything from low level stress to PTSD as a result. I partner with my clients to help them understand their current work dynamic. They are often able to then decide if they would like to change the way in which they are currently working and relating in the workplace or if it's necessary to make a career move or change. I also help clients who are looking for personal and professional growth and can help them identify both areas of strength to build upon as well as self limiting beliefs we can work to eradicate. I have found my analysis client’s Myers-Briggs type to be very helpful.
