 As an experienced nurse practitioner with more than 9 years in the industry, Dr. Harris brings a wealth of knowledge, clinical experience, and skills to her role at Keturah Health. She shares a passion for enhancing the lives of those in her care and strives to integrate health and wellness into each patient’s everyday life, an approach that yields excellent results. She has a true passion for helping others which is what motivated her to pursue this profession. Her diverse background in the field of nursing ranges from mental health to family practice, and psychotherapy. Her plan of care includes a holistic approach combining modern medication with supplements and healthy lifestyle modifications. She is dedicated to using the most up-to-date, research-based approach to providing health care that targets the needs of her patients and families. She prides herself on having excellent therapeutic listening skills to work with the patient to develop a treatment plan with mutually agreed-upon goals.
 
 
Dr. Harris is experienced in working with various complexities of the family unit such as patients and their families struggling with Foster Care, CPS, Group Home Placement, Developmental Delays, Autism, Declining Health, Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, and Down Syndrome. The mental and emotional strain is real and greatly affects the family's functioning. Dr. Harris understands these situations are delicate and require a trained eye to coordinate the care. 
 
As the founder of Keturah Health, Dr. Harris believes in a holistic approach to managing the mental health concerns of the client.  Her team collaborates to offer therapeutic interventions based on the client's unique goals. The providers of Keturah Health are board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) who have completed advanced education and training in psychiatric services through therapeutic interventions and psychiatric medications. 
 
Sharing your journey with the right audience is the first step toward healing.  Dr. Harris and her team will work with the clients to identify patterns of behaviors to empower the clients and improve maladaptive behaviors. The foundation of treatment for mental illness is quality therapy but some clients need extra support.  Keturah Health is capable of connecting patients with a therapist and prescribing the right psychotropic medications to help improve the client's symptoms.
