She values the importance of having someone in your corner and strives to be that for each and every one of her clients.
Katherine’s hope is to help her clients experience change from the inside out. She also believes in facilitating a culturally sensitive space that rejects assumed beliefs about someone based on their gender, sexuality, race, or ethnicity. Everyone deserves to feel safe and Katherine’s hope is to create that space where we can work together to find solutions to whatever you are going through.
Katherine Fijman is a National Certified Counselor. She has a Master of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Katherine integrates techniques and knowledge from a variety of modalities to fit her clients and their goals. She primarily uses techniques from Existential Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy.
Katherine lives in Denver, CO and enjoys spending time with her friends and experiencing new things around Colorado. She likes to hike, eat good food, and listening to good podcasts. She is hoping to add a furry friend to her home soon, as well!
