Prior to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist, I worked at IBM for 14 years. IBM started downsizing and I was faced with the decision of having to move out of state in order to keep my job with IBM. I chose to stay and pursue my passion to become a therapist, but it required going to school for 6 years while working full time. I support individual clients experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and mental and emotional exhaustion. I often work with Highly Sensitive People, or empaths, who are more susceptible to these experiences.
