As a Licensed Professional Counselor, caring well for my clients is my chief aim. I have been trained, and continue to seek regular training, that helps me help you! I pride myself on always learning and growing as a therapist because I want anyone I work with to find the healing and growth they seek! In my practice, I draw from attachment-science, neuroscience, and leading evidenced-based modalities to help you achieve your goals as effectively as possible.

My psychotherapy methodology is cognitive-behavioral. This means that as your therapist, if needed, I will help you to see any negative thinking patterns that may have developed in your life. Then together we will work on changing any behavioral or thinking patterns so that you can deal with life issues more effectively. This can be especially helpful if you are struggling with anxiety or depression. I provide convenient office hours Monday through Thursday and Saturdays; located near Hampden and Wadsworth.

Depression, anxiety, or brokenness in our relationships can often leave us confused and hurting. These symptoms can arise for many reasons but commonly they are a result of some 'root' issue that needs resolving. You can learn to better manage your symptoms but for long term relief we can work together to discover the root problem and experience healing in these areas in a safe and effective way.

Psychotherapy is the process of you being with yourself and getting to know yourself in the presence of someone who supports safety, compassion, empathy, and care. We live in a culture that supports looking outside ourselves; where we live, what we drive, who we're dating, what we wear, etc. Carl Jung said, "Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakes." I'm here to support you in looking within yourself, communicating effectively about what you find there (feelings, needs, requests, etc.) and integrating the unresolved wounds of your past so you can feel more relaxed, fulfilled and empowered.

I approach psychotherapy with my clients by inviting them to process past pain and present hurts. It is my belief that if given a safe and nonjudgemental space, people will be able to find a greater sense of understanding and peace despite their circumstances. There is power in telling and understanding your story. Being able to process the past without feeling controlled by it is how we can step into a more peaceful and purposeful future.
