I use a blended form of psychotherapy with my clients. I have clients who started treatment for one specific issue, primarily, substance use and then during the session things from their childhood start unfolding and a connection is made on how the adverse childhood experiences play a role in their current thinking pattern, decision making and results they get because of how they look at the world. Psychotherapy helps my clients freely explore "hidden" feelings that have been buried deep down inside, and which affects them subconsciously.

My approach to psychotherapy is rooted in the belief that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important component to a successful therapeutic outcome. Therefore, I spend time building a personal connection with my clients, in order to help them to feel comfortable exploring the deep intimate details of their lives. I work with them to uncover patterns in their lives and build insight from these patterns. We also collaborate together to identify the right set of coping skills to help them to manage the ups and downs of their lives.
