Depression is miserable! I work to accurately diagnose the severity of depression. This leads to devising a treatment plan with my client that immediately ensures their safety and begins to address their recovery. We determine if a psychiatric referral for medication is warranted. And we start working on the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are driving the depression.

Goals will include small behavior changes that will help to be building blocks and also cognitive work on realistic truths. Often things like sleep, nutrition, and exercise are also evaluated and improved in the process as ways to counter depression.
