Seeing a professional doesn’t always need to be for clinical purposes, but a meeting to talk about issues that prevent the individual from reaching their goals to be successful in the challenging areas of life. Our coaching program is brief, solution-focused, and geared toward results for the individual. This program will help the client set their own personal goals, and implement a workable plan that their coach will monitor until they have accomplished and become successful with their goals.

My approach is to delve into "who" you are in addition to one's skills and training. We will pursue avenues of interest and less known areas of your life to bring an awareness that empowers and enhances it so that each day holds more than you could have ever imagined.

Working with clients collaboratively, I employ methods used to help you identify your strengths, interest and values that match specific careers. Through exploring areas of individual challenges, clients learn about careers to explore and careers to avoid. Participation in career counseling can also assist in exploring new career options or in making a career change.

Many individuals struggle with maintaining jobs and/or finding employment. My main area of specialty is working with women with ADHD / ADD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or attention deficit disorder). I can help you find ways to boost your strengths in the workplace and also cope better with your unique challenges. We can also discuss challenges with school and education.

I heard a local radio station do a terrific piece on finding one's way career-wise; just out of high-schoolers were polled on their certainty of career choice. And those older and wisened were asked: did they follow a straight path to their calling. The answer: a definitive "NO!". We all find our way, in our own time. Many of the internal demands to have it figured out just add a heaping dose of self judgment. Career counselling can help you rediscover your passions, set realistic goals, and let go of unhealthy blocks to following your path.
