My approach to couples therapy is integrative but emphasizes Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). This approach holds that our emotions are key to who we are and that they inform our behavior and influence the way that we think. This can be complicated by our lived experience and our past traumas. Emotional change is required in order make meaningful change to our thoughts and behaviors.
