I provide support to couples and families that have been impacted by a partner's sexual behaviors, infidelities or anger issues.

Providing marriage counseling with the goal of not only keeping couples together through difficult times, but also strengthening the marriage bond and deepening understanding and emotional intimacy. I have advanced training and a great deal of experience in this work.

My PhD and license is in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to AAMFT-supervised internship or residency, I have worked mostly with couples for the last 15 years. Don't settle for less when it comes to your relationship.

I've found the best approach is the communications model. This approach begins with the assumption that problems begin when couples stop communicating. Poor communications can take the form of distorted messages or simply the lack of any message at all.

Couples have times when they don't function well, the relationship begins to have self-reinforcing, maladaptive patterns thus "negative interaction cycles". I use the Imago Therapy approach to help couples make the necessary changes to create positive interactions.
