My approach to managing anxiety is twofold. I first evaluate your situation & understand the external factors that impact you. Next we design and implement a plan to address those factors. Skills like assertiveness, and limit setting may be used to deal with the external stressors. The second thing we do is increase your coping skills. We can use specific behavioral plans, changing self-talk, letting go, and using social supports to increase your resiliency. Stress reduction methods such as meditation, exercise, spiritual resources, and breathing exercises may be used. With time and some effort, you will find that your self-doubt and anxiety will be replaced will confidence & self-esteem.

We offer counseling for people struggling with feelings of stress or anxiety. Sometimes this can look like irritability or a need to control. Other times we just have so much on our plate that we need help determining what to let go of or how to manage our time or emotions differently.
