I then provide guide them through the choices they make. I am a family systems therapist and look at their family of origin, their current relationships, and their spiritual beliefs in an integrated therapy approach. I am holistic based, so I look at their health and lifestyle influences that may be contributing to their problems.

The Experiential process is structured to encourage safe exploration of emotions, thoughts, behaviors contained in the experience with a third object to develop insight into behavior patterns and defense mechanisms for coping with life. The therapeutic relationship is the vehicle through which the healing and growth process occurs as much of the new learning is in the context of how it plays out with the support of the therapist in the immediate environment. The task orientation of the activities and techniques allow for the client to focus with the therapist on the third object to resolve the issue together. Client empowerment, personal responsibility, and self- determination is promoted.

My approach to psychotherapy is to give that individual choice and control back in their life. I utilize deferent approaches and educate you on each as we go through this. I use this to restructure and identify thoughts and create a new way of thinking in the areas of need.
