In the context of the experiential process couples are supported with a safe environment structured to encourage each partner to identify internal states (thoughts and feelings) of the immediate experience/ task that are influencing behavior patterns. Reflection on each person’s behavior patterns and how the patterns interact within the context of the experiential activity and process opens the door to behavioral change in the form of new routines, boundaries, and practices as well as developing emotional intelligence skills. The experiential process and techniques allow for an increase in and enhancement of the level of intimacy between the two individuals in the relationship.

I love working with couples. I believe in the foundation of healthy relationships and understand that sometimes people are "stuck". I'm a certified Prepare and Enrich instructor that allows couples to discover who they are in order to work together as a team. This approach addresses those who are in relationships, engaged or struggling in their marriages.

Couples come in a variety of 'flavors and colors', so to speak, and every couple is a unique situation. I bring 45 years of experience to helping couples heal their relationship. Couple situations usually have conflict and communication roadblocks as a big, if not, central component. I specialize in communication problems and conflict/anger resolution, offering help in both conventional communication approaches and an alternative approach that frequently is successful where conventional approaches fail. My Un-Talk TM Therapy approach also has the advantage of helping with an uncooperative partner. All other current approaches require the participation of both parties.
