Psychotherapy is an umbrella term for the work I do with clients. With couples psychotherapy involves the Gottman method and with individuals it involves many different approaches that are best suited for the individual at hand. Through psychotherapy, I provide a safe space for clients to share what they've been going through as well as their goals and guide them in reaching those goals.

Psychotherapy is at the core of everything I do. It's a space to slow down, look honestly at what's been driving your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and start making sense of patterns you may not have even noticed before. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, and somatic work, tailoring the approach to what you actually need rather than fitting you into a predetermined framework. When clients graduate from treatment, they take with them a box full of "tools", such as effective anger management techniques, avoiding confrontations that lead to negative expressions of anger, resolving conflict peacefully and quietly, making the right decisions in every aspect of life, and perseverance to always build skills against life's problems and apply them consistently.

I specialize in brief online relationship counseling. Online counseling allows clients to seek help as needed, engage in therapy at a schedule that's convenient to them, and keep their counselor as they progress through life. I work with LGBTQ and hetero clients on individual, couple, and alternative relationship concerns.
