I have supported clients with various substance use addictions as well as gambling, sex and love addictions and pornography. We will explore the function of the addiction in the client's life and ways these needs can be filled in a healthier way. Often we will uncover a pattern of self-medicating for depression or anxiety. I use a team approach to addictions and will often recommend outside resources/treatment to complement the individual therapy sessions.
