Christian counseling is a form of therapy that integrates spiritual beliefs and principles with traditional counseling techniques. It aims to uphold Christian values and teachings while offering support to individuals dealing with mental health and personal issues. i base my approach on Scripture and prayer to help individuals find inner peace, resilience, and a sense of purpose. I am trained to deal with issues such as marital problems, addiction, grief, and stress, among others. Overall, Christian counseling is an effective way to enrich an individual's mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.

My approach to counselling is attachment based and trauma informed. I have extensive training in emotionally focused therapy, the gold standard in couple's therapy, which I apply in my work with couples, families, and individuals. Emotionally focused therapy closely parallels the Christian faith in how it understands human personhood and connection. I am trained through a biblical lens and comfortable including faith in the work we will do. During our sessions I take an engaged and active role in the process, focused on helping you to identify the areas where you may be stuck and working with you to make changes aligned with your goals and faith.

I provide psychotherapy, counselling, and mental health services that are grounded in my academic and experiential training. However, the foundation of my work is grounded in my faith. I firmly believe in a grand power/God that helps human beings to work for the healthy betterment of theirselves and of others. The main source of energy that drives us towards this betterment is love, compassion, and understanding. In faith based counselling and psychotherapy, I will help you to explore your own faith and spirituality and use these in supporting the resolution of resentful feelings, trauma, and other harmful experiences.
